What version of Power BI do I need?

The play date videos are recorded with a mix of April 2020 + October / November 2019 versions of Power BI. You can use any recent version of Power BI Desktop to enjoy the lessons. Please upgrade Power BI to latest version if possible.

Do I need Power BI Service / Online  account?

Power BI online account is not necessary to enjoy the play date. That said, if you have an account, you can upload the files / datasets there to experience the last leg of Power BI report distribution concepts.

You can also register for free Power BI online account from their website.

Is this a onetime payment?

Yes. Power BI Play Date (or the combo option) is a one time payment program. There are no recurring charges.

Can I get team / group discount?
