xlsb size is too high

Hi,
I have one excel file extension "xlsb". First its size is 4 MB, but after i added some formula and VBA code, it increases to 9 BM. I try to delete all data and clear all format and even delete all VBA code. Finally its size decrease to 7 BM. I really have no idea how the size of blank file to be like this.
Anyone have any solution for this?

Thanks,
Chanthan

xlsb is typically smaller in size.
Would there be excess conditional formatting?
From the Microsoft forum I found this tip "make a copy of it and then add a .zip extension. Open it with zip file viewer, and you might be might be able to identify the part that's causing the bloat."

Is there 'some' links to somewhere?
Is there 'some' Pivots? ... especially, which has external data?
Is it a shared file? ... unshare it once! These are interesting!
Have You tried to save it as .xlsm?

To add to Vletm's list: hidden sheets (which may contain data), (in)visible shapes, embedded pictures...
Add a shape on each sheet, select it with the mouse, then press CTRL+A to select all and press delete. Repeat for each sheet.
And the killer "last cell". If you have delete all data, try to add a new sheet and delete all others.

Thanks for trying to help. I just try to delete some formula which is applied for empty cell and its size become smaller again. However, I still doubt why it doesn't decrease when i delete everything in that sheet :/

Or...........

If you want to have a decrease size file, try to a save a new file after your cleaning/clearing work.

... and if it's possible to use other Excel-version, that would help too.
or at least try to save with other computer.
'A file' have 'extras', while You're saving it
= it do not save 'only needed information'!
