I need to display cell value of 1,00,000 as 1.0 (Excel 2007)

can you guide me do this in cell format

Just / it by 1,00,000, if you want 2,50,000 to be displayed as 2.5, just / it by 1,00,000

Thanks Vijay for sharing such a informative link. Following the footsteps on the link, I am able to find a custom format for this issue.

Format your cells with the custom format 0.0###,,,<ctrl J>%% (Press Ctrl+J on the format cells) and set "Wrap Text" option also. This should display the value as desired.
