Where is my variable used

Hi All,


I am currently excel 2007 but I have this unsolved situation since 2003 versin of excel.


Situation:


I have defined variable names (using name manager) and used the variables in the excel work book across sheets.


I need to know a way to find "variable usage'" within the work book.


For example if I used a varible in A12 of sheet1, I would like to get a report stating so.


Any pointers?


Similar requirement for links as well. My excel complains that links are misssing but where exactly is still a mystery (atelast for me)

Keep all variable name at sheet2


Say at sheet1 you have two variable David and Micheal at A1 and A4, respectively.


Now at sheet2 B1 write ="Sheet1!"&ADDRESS(MATCH(A1,Sheet1!A:A,0),1) and drag down


At B1 it will give you Sheet1!$A$1 and B2 it will give you Sheet1!$A$4
