Is there a more accurate program than Excel that shows . CSV format properly?
MS Excel has 3 .csv formats which distorts them when opening them up in other official programs and even MS Excel. Which the government will not accept since it distorts every file type and even on Apples Numbers it shows distorted.
Comma Separated Value (.CSV) which changes the dash (–) to something else when reopening the file,
Windows Comma Separated (.CSV) Which looks fine but any other program distorts how the (–) looks.
MS-DOS Comma Separates (.CSV) which changes the dash to an underscore when reopening the file.
Since MS does not like to have standards in anything what can make .CSV look exactly how excel shows it in other standard programs?
Also when I mean it changed I did not have any codes on it just text. It seems to mainly change the Dash from – TO - (which is not accepted and shorter by Gov agents), Ð, etc, or when opening up in Apple numbers it can vary as well which can even look like –, etc.
Thanks
