what is the best formula in excel to pick up a value from a data sheet?

I have a row of values as below:

Category A Category B Category C

1 4 33


I need to use these values in a transfer sheet. My data has only one row.

I use offset formula to pick up these values. Is the offset function best way for this case to pick up values? Any help is greatly appreciated.

If the values are in the same place, then simply making your target cell = the source cell should be the easiest.

You can still make your target cell = a cell on the other sheet.


just enter = in the cell and point to the source cell
