Weeknumber modified formula

Hello Excel Ninjas,

I know there is a formula that gets you the week number already based upon a date, but i would like to know if you can come up with a formula that just tells the weeknumber from 1 to 5 per month, and that will work from year to year...

For instance:

You mean weeknumber for current month from date? If yes try this :

=WEEKNUM(A1)-WEEKNUM(A1-DAY(A1)+1)+1

or

=INT((DAY(A1)+6)/7)

A1 is your date..........

or if you want to know how many weeks from month occur, try this:

=INT((DAY(EOMONTH(A1;0))+6)/7) &" weeks"
