Hi

I want to run VLOOKUP or something, which will show me the both columns( Cities and Fruits ) as a base. As we see in this DATA and DATA1 there are apples available in different cities but Qty and Days differ, so I need to generate DATA which can differentiate between apple of bangalore, chennai and other cities. Please help me on this..

Hi ,

What should happen in the case of multiple entries ?

For example , for the case of Mumbai and Orange , there are 3 entries. Which entry should be displayed ?

Sorry for the delay in reply, yes i just want to know the difference between Mumbai orange, Bangalore orange Delhi orange and Chennai orange in same way for all the fruits..

Thank you!!!

Hi Basavaraj ,

What I meant was that for City = "Mumbai" and Fruit ="Orange" , there are 3 entries in your data - ( 17 , Tuesday ) , ( 24 , Tuesday ) and ( 28 , Saturday ). Which of these should be displayed in the result table ?

Narayan

Hi Basavaraj ,

There is still some misunderstanding of the issue !

For City = "Mumbai" and Fruit = "Orange" , there are 3 ( three ) entries in your data worksheet.

When you display an entry in your output result table , should there be :

1. One entry against "Mumbai" and "Orange"

or

2. All three entries against "Mumbai" and "Orange"

If there is to be only one entry , should it be the first ( 17 , Tuesday ) or the last ( 28 , Saturday ) ?

Narayan

Hi Narayan,

I so sorry about that, i would like to have second option that is "All three entries against "Mumbai" and "Orange""

Thank you!
