Vlookup with Drop Down options

Hi

I am trying to create an information table where a user will be able to pick a name from a drop down list in the first column. I then want options available under the name chosen, to become available in the second column and this is to also be shown in a drop down (as there may be many options per column).


I have read the VLOOKUP with Drop Down Box thread http://chandoo.org/forums/topic/vlookup-with-drop-down-box and the Chandoo example: http://chandoo.org/img/playground/vlookup-drop-down-box-fish.xlsx however this shows static information for each name.

Is there a way to be able to give drop down lists in the following columns that are applicable to the first column/second column option only?


An example would be

Column 1 - Chain

Column 2 - Areas the chain appears in

Column 3 - Stores in each area

So that if a chain chosen in the first column only has one area and one store then this will be static information. However, if there are many areas or stores in many areas under a chain this would entail drop down lists for column 2&3 to allow user to get specific information for a store.


Any help given would be greatly appreciated.
