VLookup using multiple arrays

Hello All,

Might be a dumb question but I am trying to look into two different columns "RAMS # Phase 1 TXXXX" and "RAMS# Phase 2 TXXXX or UXXXX" (pic below) in vlookup to get the entries in column "Phase." The result will be a column of RAMS# and Phase (pic below). Is there any way to do that since the entries are in two different columns? Please advise, thank you!

One way to do it is to nest it in IFERROR.

So if result isn't found in one column, then do VLOOKUP on the other column.
=IFERROR("VLOOKUP on first column", "VLOOKUP on second column")
