Vlookup returning N/A

Ugh... I'm sooo frustrated! I'm using a simple vlookup formula to search on a number say 9 in a table where there is cleary the number 9, but it will not return the $25.00 associated with the 9. I tried to format both number 9's so that they were the same, that didn't do anything. I tried to use "text to columns" to get rid of any zero's but that did nothing. The table that I'm searching on is from someone else and could have been an import, although I doubt it. Help!

Hi friend,

I replied to this thraed yesterday, and i am sorry to find ur problem un resolsed yet. I am making thiss post from my handset so am not going to give u a formula, but few tips:

- when u ask a question, give complete detail, layout, expected output etc...

- when u post a sample file with sample data make sure that u can translate that formula into the origional senario,

- it is always better to give origioanl file with dummay data rather then dummy file with original data.

- donot get furstrated, it will only add to ur problem, uplaod the file that is teasing u.

Take care n good night,

Good day Patrice71

If you up-load your work sheet as suggested by Faseeh those trying to help you will have a better understanding of the problem.

If you do not have a Dropbox account open one (is free) and post the public link into your post. The forum members are good, even able to solve a problem without posting an answer, http://chandoo.org/forums/topic/confused-ledgor-balance-in-pivot?view=all , but the more information the better
