vlookup formula to copy the matching values

Hello All,

I have an excel sheet (SHEET1) with two columns (IPA, PKG) and another sheet (SHEET2) with three columns (IPA, STATE, PKG).

I need to compare the data (SHEET1 - A2:A15) against (SHEET2 - A2:A18) and copy the value from SHEET2 (C2:C18) to SHEET1 (B2:B15).

Can someone help me on this? I have attached the sample sheet herewith.

Does this not work ?

=VLOOKUP(A2,SHEET2!$A$2:$C$18,3,FALSE)

Enter this in cell B2 in Sheet1 , and copy down.
