Vlookup and ...don't seem to work

Hi,

I have two sheets,both contain columns with just numbers. One sheet has more rows than the other,I have been asked to find numbers on one sheet that appear on the other sheet.I thought this would be very simple but none of the formulas I have tried work

Please see the attached file.I need to match values from column two ("No") of the sheet named "A List" with values in column named "ref1" on sheet named "filtering". The sheet named filtering has more rows.The result go on the "match"column.

You need output on Filtering sheet Match column. Shouldn't that be on A List sheet?

See the file.

You numbers are stored on filter sheet as text, convert them to numbers to get the result.
