And regarding your issue, tried yet searching at Visio sites? It'd be easier to find there how to talk to Excel that here how to talk to Visio.

Apologies I was in hurry, so did not read that new users post.
Sorry but I am not able to make out much out of your reply.
I would like to add more information to my question. I have an excel sheet containing following fields:
1. Job/ Title
2. Parent
3. email id
these are basic columns.
I am trying to make a Org chart automatically, using the information in first 2 columns.
Please help, if some code or macro can be used to automate this.

Hi Yodha,
I'm not aware of a macro for this, but I've used the Visio Organization Chart wizard a number of times with success. In Visio you can choose this template & choose an Excel file to use as your import. Once you've connected the Visio file to the Excel file you can just refresh the Org Chart when you make changes to your file. Hope that Helps.
