VBA Project ideas and dll ideas

Hi, first post so i'm not sure if this is in the correct place.

I'm trying to think of some interesting excel projects to create in VBA. I have done things such as connecting to APIs in the past.

I would ideally like to create my own dll and import that into VBA, does anyone have any interesting ideas?
