VBA for Bookmark Creation

Is there a way I can make a word document and insert the shortcode [[Bookmark_Name]] and then have VBA that converts that into a bookmark with the name of Bookmark_Name? I'd like to do this and add apprx 250-300 bookmarks to a document so it makes sense to automate the process in some way. Thanks!

Can you upload a Word document of a few pages , which has at least 3 bookmarks on different pages ?
