vba code to reminder user to do...

Hi,
I'm looking for some help please, regarding vba code; this post has 3 questions.
1 - I'm wondering if there is a vba code, to reminder a user by email about a certain file needs to be daily updated from the time he log in on a pc.
2 - stop the reminder when the file is open, data is inserted in certain cells in different tabs and the file is saved & closed.
3 - send file as a attachment
Any help will be much appreciated.

As far as I know 1 is not possible as Excel would need to be open in order to run the code. So you'll probably need to get that developed. 2 is related to 1. 3 can be done. Please see link below
