vba code to format a column to a specific format (SSSS X1111111)

Hi All

Looking for vba code to put this reference R12546 TO THIS (SADC R12546)

FORMAT (SADC X11111) however the digits may vary 3 to 8 maximum

The columns headers vary depending of worksheets it may start AT A1 or Z1 COLUMNS or F1 as example , but it is always one columns with same format .
