I have the following words written into cells A1,A2, … A9

e.g.

smallrednose
hugeredpocket


Upon selecting these cells and applying the VBA script, I would like to highlight common patterns among consecutive cells, as follows:

appletree
applestore
appleiphone
tweetbird
angrybird
funnybird
bigredhat
smallrednose
hugeredpocket


Anyone get some ideas to achieve this?
