Variable line on an Excel bar graph

Appreciate any help on this please..

I have a matrix that I collect information in, and the last row, in each cell,is an average of the data. When I draw the bar graph, I would like to plot the data in the last row as a line across the bar graph, to highlight the average aspect.

Looking through the examples I have seen, am not sure if this is possible - can someone please advise ?

Thanks

Hi ,

Where are you facing a problem ?

Have you gone through this article ? http://chandoo.org/wp/2009/01/05/excel-combination-charts/

Is the last row going to be variable , changing its row number as you add more data ?

Hi Narayan,

The last row will always remain where it is, however, it will increase horizontally, as the number of days increase in the data collection part do.

Hi ,

In that case , all you need to do is to use dynamic named ranges for the horizontal axis , and for each of the chart series.
