V-LOOKUP FROM CLOSED FILE

Hi

I have a file with some data and I would like to run a Macro for V-LOOKUP from a reference file from other folder which is closed. I have tried some tips from research from GOOGLE, However, whenever I am running the macro from a new file, each time it is asking for "reference" file location for each time. Request you to please review the sample file attached and advise how to overcome the issue by running a macro to get the required information (highlighted) from a reference master file. I do not want to open the master file each time I run the Macro. Is this possible? Kindly help.

This is a frequently asked question here , one way do this is using adodb connections . Give a search here you can get the results for what you are looking for.

INDEX/MATCH combination will work between closed workbook.
