Using Range name for pivot table

ninad7

I have data from A1:K622 and I've created a dynamic range name "lstAuditMasterDetails" =OFFSET(AuditMaster!$A$1,0,0,COUNTA(AuditMaster!$A:$A),11). Row 1 has headers and data beginning from row 2.

For the pivot table I am using this range name, but the field names the table picks for the data source is Row 2 (which is the data).

Scratching my head wondering WHY ? Any pointers to help me on this.

TIA.

Ninad.

Include the headers in the name range, if that is not possible, select the entire data for pivot table (including the headings)& not just the range name. If this does not solve your problem. Please share the workbook.

Hi Srinidhi,

As you can see from the formula, values in Row 1 (which is the heading row) is included. I'll share the workbook tomorrow from work.

Ninad.
