For simplicity I will say that in column A:A I have words in cells, A1 (cat), A20 (dog), A40 (rabbit), A50 (horse). I would like to easily update the cell below with the word above. I believe this can be done by using the following conditional format. =A1=A1048576
That is the formula I had written in my notes years ago when I successfully did this. I don't remember exactly how I did it, but I think I was as simple as selecting column A:A and putting the above formula in conditional formatting. Also, I'm wondering how I would stop the last word from repeating to the bottom of the page?
