Unable to run Grouping/Outline VBA in password protected sheet

Hi,

I am not able to run the Grouping/Outline VBA in password protected excel sheet.

In the attached file, every sheets and the workbook is password protected due to restricted access. Due to large volume of data. I grouped many cells with header, but the grouping VBA is not working in password protected sheet. And also whenever I open the workbook, everytime its prompt for password.

I also tried some codes in "This Workbook" module to auto-run while open...

Could anyone fix this issue...

Have You used/tried that file Yourself?

There is UNROTECT SHEET...
Of course if press eight times 'Cancel' can pass those ... hmm?

Hi Vletm,
So sorry for inconvenience !

Now I removed all the protection from attached sheet.
Now you can work on that, but first you must protect the all sheets and workbook as well.

Question :
Unable to Grouping/Outline in password protected sheet and workbook.

Solution needed :
User can able to Grouping/Outline in password protected sheet.

Note:

1.Why need to protect Sheet;
The user must not authorized to access all the cells, hence I protected the sheets, which results restricted access as per need.

2. Why need to protect workbook;
Because the user will not be able to rename and delete the sheets in workbook.


Please refer the attached file, and if do you have any question then please let me know....

Note0: There were still two 'Unrotect Sheet'-questions ... Cancel works!
Your notes: Every opening You would check sheet names and DELETE unwanted sheets ... soon users would learn what to do!
... of course automatic backup would be needed!
Note1: You were near ... but Your tasks should be different order.
Note2: Maybe there are some formulas
... which opening would be calculation as Manual.

Hello, once again Vletm,

till now everything was good... You really help me out with everything...
Could you please do one more thing for me?

This time I need your help in Pivot Table..
In the attached file, there are 3 sheets for three staffs, I also added a new sheet named - Monthly Report.

Can you please create a pivot table on Monthly Report sheet, where I can see the % of Utilization of every staff.

In the table, you must include 3 main heading -

1. Name of Employee:
Sheet name will be employee name source.

2. Date:
In every sheet, there is an Action Date column (in A Column). Please refer that source as column list in the pivot table.

3. % of Utilization:
In every sheet, there is a Utilization column (in C Column). Please refer that source as column list as per staff specific in the pivot table.

Hope you understand the whole scenario. Once again your skills will help me.
Please refer the attachment, then you will be able to understand better.
