Unable to export the EXCEL data to XML

Can you please help me to resolve the following issue I am facing while exporting an XML file from excel:

I have an XML file with multiple hierarchies (around 8), which I am able to successfully import into excel. However I am not able to export it back to XML after some data change. It is throwing following error: "Cannot save or export XML data. The XML maps in this workbook are not exportable." When I am verifying the XML maps following warnings are displayed:
"Maps are not exportable because it contains the following:
-List of lists
-Denormalized data
-A mapped element's relationship with other elements cannot be preserved"

Note: Same error messages are displayed even when I am trying to export the file back as XML with out any data change.

Edit: FYI - It's likely the original XML file you are importing into Excel does not conform to schema structure required.

By the way how are you importing to Excel? Have you mapped XML elements? Or is it through one of other methods?

I'd also recommend uploading sample XML. Without it it's bit hard to trouble shoot.
