Dear all,

i want to type/apply a formula in a cell where already a value exist.

i want to make a marksheet on ms excel, criterion of marksheet is as follows-

1. There are four paper.

2. need minimum 40 marks in each paper and total 200 marks in all four paper to pass.

3. if any student gets total 200 or above marks as over all but fails to secure

40 marks in any of subject will be fail.

4. if any student dont get 40 marks in any of the paper but gets 60 or more marks

in any paper(s) he will be declared exempt in that paper.

Now my query is if point no. 4 as above fulfills then i want to insert an "E"

sign with the marks. for ex. "60E".

why r u asking the same question again?

Hi!

More indeed when a solution has been provided and the user didn't even answer or acknowledge having read it at least.

Regards!
