Tracking using excel and outlook express

Hi,

i am project manager and there will be number of task which needs tracking , but due to busy work i may forget to send email to the concernedso i thought whether any automated system can be generated .

I want to create list of the tracking task in excel along with dates ,emailids and message to be shown on email body ,when once the due date is reached , it should automatically send reminders to the concerned can this be possible.
