Tool Tip on Selecting Cell

If I use Data Validation technique to show a tool tip - there is a limitation on the number of characters. Is there a way that i can show characters greater than 255 in the tool tip on selecting a cell via VBA?

Not with data validation. You could perhaps use a comment instead?
