to update the graph month by month.

Hi,

I have simple data in excel and graph in powerpoint showing monthlyl sales performance.
It is showing graph for all month Jan -14 to Jun-14 together, i wanted to show only one month and show the rest of month one by one by a clik or button. is there any way for the same.

Thanks for the reply Ratan and Ajesh. i need to change the graph in Power point not in excel, As Power point file cant upload here, i have attached the same in JPG

I wanted to show only for one month and other month to appear click by click. is there any way for this

Hi Ajaar,

If all you required in excel:
You can use spin button / scroll bar for data to be indexed month by month with click.

if you want to do this in PP:
Make separate graphs for each month and place in your presentation, when you click next slide will show next month.

In agreement with Khalid, for PowerPoint you can try one of these:

• Place graphs on succeeding slides and during run time they will appear one after another
• Or if you want them to be placed on one slide you can use transition effects for them to appear one after another but setting a streamline flow of transition is time consuming and makes your ppt file very heavy.
