Hi all,
I am preparing data for emp login hours.
We are working 24" 7 and need to calculate staff time
We have several shifts like 10 am to 7 pm, 6 pm to 3 am and so on.
If a user logs in at 10 am, he has to complete 9 hours, that is not a issue, however if a emp is doing 6 pm to work am shift. The date will change.
I mean 6 hours for today and 3 hours for tomorrow
Can we make a formula to check if a emp has completer staff time of particular date.

But my question was to keep the cut off time as 12 am because the date will change.

Example
Shift time 10 pm to 7 am.
So 10 pm - 12 am = 2 hours.
12 am to 7 am = 7 hours.

Also the shift time I get is in a single cell like 10 pm - 7 am, how can I calculate using this.

I think you need to provide an example of your worksheet - you're going to need to allocate time across two different days by the sound of it ... It will be a lot easier to help you if you can give some idea of your starting point in the calculation.
