time and milliseconds in Excel 2010

Dear all, I am quite stuck with a problem in Excel.

I have extracted data from a Siemens program and the excel sheet I have got (through Access) has split the time in two columns. One is giving hh:mm:ss and one is giving milliseconds (eg. 785 or 213). How shall I do to concatenate, join together the two columns to be able to draw a chart having the time in x and my measured values in y ?

thanks for your help

Rember that XL treats dates/times as just regular numbers with decimals portions, where a day equals 1. So, since the first column is correct, we just need to add 2nd number with the correct conversion.

=A2+B2/(1000*60*60*24)

1000 milliseconds per second * 60 seconds per minutes * 60 minutes per hour * 24 hours per day

PS. If you want to see the whole number in the XL cell/chart, format number with this format:

hh:mm:ss.000
