Dear Chandoo,

I wish to filter more than 1 words from a column in a large excel sheet, using a text filter 'contain' option (or any other way) e.g. lights, camera, lenses (or more words) in one go. how to do it?

Thanking you,

With warm regards,

Devang

Hi devangjmehta,

Choose a area for the TEXT you want to filter, with the same heading (assume 'Object Name')as where "lights, camera, lenses" are written.

For Exp. M1 to M5

Object Name

Lights

Camera

Lenses

L*S

Cam*

Now apply Advance Filter, and provide Criteria Range $M$1:$M$5

It will not only select Camera,Lights ; but it will apply filter on 'Camcorder' and 'Light Stands' due to Criteria as L*S and Cam*

For more Information read the below Topic..

BTW, Welcome to the Jungle..
