Hi,

Am looking for a similar formula like sumif which will add/concatenate text data from one sheet to another. See the example below:

Source file data-

Name Travelled Region

A USA

B APA

C EU

B USA

C APA

B EU

Name Region

A =(formula) i.e. USA

B =(formula) i.e. APA/USA/EU

C =(formula) i.e. EU/APA

Could you please help me with formula as per my requirement.

Thanks in advance

I see you are still struggling to get out of your bad habit of posting unnecessary long code :)
New	York	City	NewYorkCity

The above = =CONCATENATE(A1,B1,C1)

New	York	City	New York City

The above = =CONCATENATE(A1," ",B1," ",C1)

Hi,

This is not am looking for..actually source data & target data are of different files/workbook but not same sheet. Secondly, through some lookup formula i want to link both the files and then concatenate the text that matches the parameters (eg:similar to sumif where it sum the values and displays total).

Hi Vamshe,

If you need to link different files then take a look at this link
