talk hour formatting to insert a pivot table

Hi,


I have got talk hour data of executives month wise,.(extracted from a reported generated by a our daily use software)


It appears as hh:mm:ss ., but when we click on single cell, we find that it is concactnated with date and some time.


this format, we are unable to remove by any type of cell formatting.(tried custom formatting as hh:mm:ss also)

And hence i am unable to inser pivot and calulcate monthly talk hours of agents in two processes...


Please help.
