Table column widths not retained on refreshing Power Query

I have a table that is populated using a Power Query. I need the the column widths in the table to be retained upon refresh.

Unfortunately, despite have the "Adjust Column Width" unchecked in the table properties the columns widths continue to adjust based on the content.

Is this possibly a bug or am I missing something?
 
Missed to check another option called "Preserve Column Sort/Filter/Layout". That ensures the widths are maintained.
