Table Background Image

Hi all,


One of my student ask me how to insert background image behind the table in Excel 2010.


Firstly, I think it's same with how to insert background image in Microsoft Word, insert picture and sent it to back, but unfortunately it doesn't work well in Excel.


Anyone know how to do it using Excel 2010?

Thanks, but the problem is I just want to put the image only behind the table, not for all cell.

The only way I've found to this is to:


1. Insert a shape

2. Fill the shape with a picture

3. Position the shape over the table

4. Set the transparency of the shape so the table data can be seen


It some disadvantages:

1. The table is not editable since it's overlaid by the shape

2. The shape cannot be attached to the cells occupied by the table


Can anyone suggest a better way of doing this?
