SUMPRODUCT equivalent? & Update Links issue

I have a SUMPRODUCT forumla I use to pull information out of a data table to populate (several) topsheets. However, the system I am pulling information from is not compatible with even Office 2010, so I am logging in through CITRIX to an older version to retrieve my data. Unfortunatley, I then have to close the file and open it again in 2010 for the forumlas to work properly. Is there another option?

Second, I create a new version of said file each month. I have variances to the prior months file built in. Typically I update the links in files and all goes swimmingly, however, with this file all of the links come back as #NUM, and i have to open the old version of the file to get the links to update. I'm not sure why this occurs, but it really slows down the process of doing the update. Any suggestions?

Hi, Kwgriffi!
Without a sample file, without the actual workbook structure, without the real formulas, there's no much to say than that sometimes lots of SUMPRODUCT formulas may turn slow the recalculation.
Regards!
