summarizing sales renewal data

Dear all,


I am Mano and working as an analyst. I am trying to build a report for sales renewals. I have uploaded a sample of the worksheet here:

Eg: Each planet has n number of customers, who renew their contract in different periods. The task is to see if margins dropped or increased post renewal. The sample has the base date for analysis and conditional formatting applied to it. Blue coloured cells are the month of renewal. If the % s in blue font then its an increase post renewal and if it is in red font it is a decrease post renewal.


Now, I want to summarize this in charts or funnel diagrams for the top management. I am unsure what would interest them... They would like to view it by planet, by month, by +/- post renewal..


I am clue less as to what chart I can use to summarize this... Please give me your ideas...

think in the line of a helper worksheet. create multiple pull down lists for planet and customers.


Try this on chandoo's site for idea. I'd point to "Aires" for you to gather ideas.
