Sum of a dynamic range

Byron

New Member
Hello,
I have a two column report. Column A goes from 1 to 31 for days in a month, column 2 for sales amounts. I need a formula in B32 that calculates the total sales for the first "A32" days in that month.

Here's one way of doing it - there are a host of ways, depending on what your source data looks like. In the absence of an example, I created one - i hope it makes sense to you ...

I suspect that once you've looked at this you can provide us a better idea of exactly what your data looks like.

Hi,
I have a similar query. Not sure if it is already answered, couldn't find any in other threads.

How to add one number in a separate cell, if sum of members in any number of months is > 450.
I have worked out an example in the attached file and more explanation for the query too.
Tried SUMIF and IF combinations, not working!
Please support.
