sum cells by color

can anyone help, I need to sum random cells on a spreadsheet by colour, which updates as I change the colours

I prepared this for you from the VBA I found and for some reason it now works, but is there a way of making it automatically recalc should I change some of the colours? As it is I have to remember to press CTRL ALT F9

Try adding the line:
Application.Volatile
before or after the Dim statements in your SumByColor function code.
