When doing subtotals can you use different functions within the subtotals. For example, subtotaled a data set and want to sum some columns and count others.
 
Certainly. The first argument of the SUBTOTAL function determines what type of math operation you want performed, and whether to include hidden rows. Check out the XL help file on the function for a complete list. I believe Count is 2, and Sum is 9, but please double-check.
