Stephen Covey - Four Quardant for best planning

Hi Excel Gurus,

Can I know any better way to create Stephen Covey's - Four Quadrant chart in excel for better planning.Sample image to be made in Excel is attached.

No need of tags.

Conditions :

Four Quadrant with selection options on closure can be made STRIKE THROUGH and getting DELETED.
For activities for which due date is passed should turn RED.

I would regard such a display as an output device and not as source data. It would be easier to maintain data as a single list with attributes of urgency and importance. Each quadrant is then a filtered view of the data built for presentational purposes. Since importance and urgency might not be binary options, thresholds might need to be adjusted to balance the presentation.

In Excel terms, the new dynamic array function FILTER offers an excellent way of creating sub-lists. It is possible but tedious to do this with traditional Excel functionality. Otherwise, custom-written macros could be used.
