Hi All,
Just wanted to know if anyone out there has produced some sort of resourcing model that can vary based on revenue inputs or number of clients to service. Rather than reinvent the wheel, I'd figure I'd give the friendly people at Chandoo.org a stab first.
I work for a consulting firm and part of my role at this point is to come up with a clear resourcing plan.
My key assumptions so far:
- Not all clients require the same types of teams so I've decided to classify the clients into 3 types (management heavy, workload heavy, normal)
- Attrition needs to be built into an input so it can be varied
- The model should be able to provide some sort of resourcing forecast that is more granular than headcount. Should be based on 1-7 levels of staff.
Do appreciate any input or help.
Cheers,
Ricky
