Spreadsheet displays differently on different computers

I was updating a spreadsheet at work and noticed from the last update the form did not appear to fit the page as previously. See pics view 01 and 02

I attempted to adjust the page but could not remove the gaps but no luck see view 03.

This was on 2 Dell computers running Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus and an Alienware running Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365 Home.

However on two different Dell computers running Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus displayed the spreadsheet as intended, see pic...

Any one know what may be causing this? I have checked settings, updates, etc.. and cannot find what is causing this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not a computer concern as it's just about printer (driver) …

I tried scaling and adjust the size all end up with large gaps between row 51 and 53, as well a bigger gap on the right hand edge of the page. I even tried deleting the section and remaking the section and get the same results. I deleted the page and remade the page same problem. So I then started a new workbook and recreated the spreadsheet and the page fits as it should. I cannot figure out what is causing the problem.

As for the printer driver.... 4 of the 5 computers I tested this on use the same networked printer, not so sure it would be the driver. But will check that out when I go back to work to night. As for my Alienware no driver updates have been performed, as well no updates for Microsoft Office. Previously the spreadsheet displayed with no issue.

Just would like to figure it out in case it happens again in the future and as well if any others might experience the issue.

Thanks for the help!

Make ONE change of setting ...
and ...
check how do it work after that.
If length is challenge then
You can even set manual page break as needed.

The computers at my work are all the same, using the same networked printers. Trying to figure out why it displays correctly on some but not on others. A co-worker and I went over the settings for 4 computers and did not see any difference in the settings, not for the form and not with the computers.

Unless we missed something in the settings we could not find any difference between the 4 computers except how it displayed the spreadsheet.

Thanks vletm, did try that. First I set the page width to 1. Which solved the width issue. But when I set the page height to 3 it set it to 3 pages but caused the gaps. I adjusted the scale but could not loose the gaps.

Next I just tried adjusting the scale, unfortunately the same results. I checked the print areas, changed views from page to normal to page break and back any adjustment or change resulted in the gaps.

When I re-made the spreadsheet using the same work computer it displays correctly on all 5 of the computers I used.

My objective is try to figure the issue out for future possible issues and to help others that might experience similar issues.

I do appreciate the help vletm and Marc L.
I will keep researching it and if I isolate the problem will post the cause. I keep thinking it has got to be something simple!?!

Did try to print the form, depending on which computer determined how it printed. Two of the computers using same printer printed as expected. The other two printed 8 pages instead of the intended 3 pages.

Well it seems the issue is with the Microsoft office versions and build. Two of the Dell computers have Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus version 1703 Build 7967.2082. The other two Dells are running Microsoft Office 365 Proplus version 1701 Build 7762.2130. As for the Alienware it is now runnig Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus Version 1708 Build 8431.2250. With Alienware and the 2 Dells running ver 1701 the form displays the same, but different than the 2 Dells running ver 1703. It seems the spreadsheets will not update between version and builds at the moment.

Artisez ... The other two printed 8 pages instead of the intended 3 pages.
That's 'normal' ... or that unwanted happens.
You should make sure that settings are 'suitable'
for that Excel& file before printing.
I've noticed that
- I print out one page from file
- other user with same file and prints out 8 pages
> printing is would be always ... printing <
Many times it would be as wanted ... sometimes something different.
