Spread residual over remaining period

Hello friends,

please see the attached excel file - I am looking for simpler formula than the one I used.
let's say I have a budget of 100$ for a period of 10 months.
the base will be 10$ each month.
but if in the first month the amount will be 2 for example, I would like to spread the remaining 8, leaner over the remaining 9 months.
I want the formula to be dynamic so I could change the period and/or the amount.

You want to be able to overwrite these formulae ad hoc with plain values?
In the attached, in cell D4 an only slightly shorter formula but one which you can copy across and down AND responds to changes in Term in cell R8.
A very simple formula in cell C4 to kick things off.
