Spider Diagram - Automation

Hello,

I am working on a spider diagram in excel. Each of the spider limbs represent different rataltionships, and the length of the limbs represent the strength of those relationships. Right now, I am just physically moving the limbs around in order to adjust them to the proper length and location (around the center of the diagram). I would like to be able to input number and have the limbs move automatically based on those numbers.

Is that possible?

As Hui showed with his pendulums you can do quite a bit using an XY chart and some math. For your spider chart, if you think of the origin as coordinates (0,0) you could then plot any line you want at any angle/length using some basic trigonometry. Since you'll know the angle you want plot at, giving the length (hypotenuse) will let you calculate the correct (x,y) coordinates for the line.
