space issue in the data

Please find the attached data which was download from the software in that there was a lot of spaces in the data.

kindly guide how to remove the space.

In B2 use the trim function...=TRIM(A2) and copy down you can then copy paste using "paste values" into column A.

In B2 =SUBSTITUTE(A2;" ";"")+0; with "+0" convert to number.

Hi,

There are several method to remove the extra spaces.

1. Select the data like as A2:A6 then press Ctrl+H, Find what: A Space(" ") & Replace With Blank(""), Press Replace All.
