Hello All

I have an excel sheet with over 8000 rows.

each row will contain products some of these products will take up several rows but each of these rows will have the product name in the cell, and are in the same column, therefore it is easy to sort.

ie
product x will take up 8 rows
product y 11 rows
product z 9 rows.

our of these 8000 products I need to list about 150 products I have a list of 150 products in which i need display, but I don't know how to sort out and onyl show these 150 products which may have consist of 8 rows each.

How can i use an existing excel sheet with a list of 150 products to then be used to filter / display these products out of an existing excel sheet of 8000 products?

the sheet 2 is the master list I want to use the "paint code" list and have all the items in sheet1 to display if they are on the "sheet2" paint code list.

I cut the sheet1 list from 8000 items down to a select few, the select few many not even be on the paint code list in sheet2, sorry i cut this up fast, but I added it for explanation.

Your attached Sample and Sample2 files don't really correlate with your explanation above. Have you tried the Remove Duplicate option? Highlight the array of data you want to remove duplicates, select Data in your toolbar, finally click Remove Duplicates?
 
Sample 1 sheet will have 1000's of rows, I cut 99% of them off,

I want to list only the paint codes on sample sheet 2 on sample sheet 1 unfortunately I cut off most of sample sheet1 and therefore there are no matching codes from sheet 2
