Shortcut - insert Bullets in a cell

Shortcut to insert bullet in a cell (Alt+7 or Alt+9) not working.
I am using Lenovo think pad T450 which don't have Num lock too.
Do any one know any other shortcut please help....

Thanks in advance :)

Bullet shortcut (ALT+7, ALT+9 or ALT+0149) only works on the Number keypad

– it doesn’t work if you use the numbers at the top of the keyboard (above the letters).

Or, try a formula way :

=CHAR(7)&" Your string"

Hi ,

You can use the Insert , Symbol menu to insert a bullet.

The character code for a bullet symbol is 0149 in ASCII decimal , or 2022 in Unicode (Hex).

Select any font of your choice , say Arial , and scroll down till you find this character. Insert it into a blank cell. Do CTRL C to copy.

Where ever you wish to insert it , use CTRL V to paste it.
