I want to remove the time from each row .


Ex. is given above, can someone help.

Try =INT(A1), then format the cell to DATE

You can write

=TEXT(A1,"DD/MMM/YY")

Or Select the cell value

Press Ctrl+1 (or right click>Format cells)

Click on Date under category

Select a type

OK

The above formula worked.


Other two did not.

When you say the others did not work, what happened?


For instance when using =INT(A1) did you get 41011? If so if you right click on the cell - Format Cells > Date > OK it should work - please confirm

I think, you did not try oldchippy's formula. it's also correct.


You also try by shortcut

Select the cell

Press Ctrl+shift+#

it will return date
